Unboxing stories · buyer-submitted

Panned a bag? Tell us what landed at your kitchen sink.

Grubstake's unboxing-story program turns every bag into a published card — first-name, home state, claim state, SKU, story excerpt, and a photo if you have one. The three stories below show the kind of find the gallery is built for.

What the program collects

Three story archetypes anchor the gallery.

  • Archetype · kid first-pan

The first flake on a Saturday morning.

Maya, 9, panned her first flake Saturday — a picker off the Cochrane Hill 1 lb and a shout from two kitchens over.

  • Archetype · weekend-warrior color recovery

Two pans, 1.2 grams recovered over the weekend.

Doug recovered 1.2 g over two pans in his garage tub — a Henderson Fork 1 lb split with his brother, both colors logged against the lot card.

  • Archetype · YouTube creator quote

A short pull-quote from a creator covering the bag.

[Founder placeholder — paste real creator quote here once a creator runs the bag on camera.]

Step 01 · submit

Your find, in the briefest form that fits.

Pick your home state, the state the bag shipped from, the SKU, and tell us what came out. Optionally paste a photo link. The gallery shows first-name + home state + claim state; the email is for follow-up only.

Never shown publicly. We use it only to reach out about your card.

0/1500 characters — excerpt is what shows in the gallery.

Hosted URL only — paste a direct https link (Imgur, your own site, a creator cloud folder). Direct upload ships in a future pass; the contact-form module doesn't yet accept files. The public card only renders absolute https URLs.

Six hands on the pan before you.

Every card below came in through the form above. First-name only — full names are stripped before publish; emails never leave the database.
